GROW Strategy is a fast growing Sydney CBD-based company that helps small to medium business owners sustainably grow their revenue through targeted growth strategies.  We do this by providing powerful cloud-based growth planning tools, as well as on-line and personalised consulting services.

The role

We are seeking a Sydney-based WordPress Web Developer to perform contract work.  As an important member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining content on our website.  This position has potential to grow into a full time role.

Contract Duration: 6 months (1 to 2 days per week) + 6 month extension

Experience

• Relevant project experience in WordPress and Web Development
• Desire to work as a freelancer for the time being
• Prior experience in developing web sites supporting business or strategic plans a bonus

Technical Skills – Mandatory 

1. WordPress – 2 to 5 years
2. WooCommerce – A minimum of 2 or 3 projects
3. PHP, MySQL – 2 to 5 years

Technical Skills – Important

• website security
• cPanel/WHM
• SSL certificate setup
• SEO
• SVN/Git
• CSS front-end theming of custom responsive WordPress themes

Non-technical skills

• Comfortable working in a team as well as independently
• High level attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
