Jim is an expert in making business strategy work through targeted, high impact people initiatives. He has over 25 years proven success in Australia, the US and Asia Pacific.
His passion is to solve complex problems with pragmatic solutions by partnering with organisation leaders and key employees.
His emphasis is on identifying crippling gaps between business strategy and work processes, and existing people practices with a focus on: organisation structure; people competencies; performance management systems; remuneration schemes; succession management and cross functional teamwork and coordination.
Jim has held leadership roles as HR Director, Asia Pacific Region Watson Wyatt Worldwide (now Towers Watson); Director, National Accounts Sterling Institute (an Executive Development firm); Manager, Human Resources TRW Steering & Suspension; and Organisation Development Consultant Detroit Edison Company
As an external consultant, he has worked extensively in such industries as professional services, banking and financial services, mining, manufacturing, energy, telecommunications, consumer product goods, government and biotechnology.
He earned B.A. and M.A. degrees from Wayne State University in the United States.
